In Progress

Mia is currently enjoying her first attempt at a sleepover. Sprinklers and crafts- so far, so good.

Sunday Lunch Date

Four Cousins = Chaos

The four Corey Cousins connected for dinner and some play this weekend. It was a huge success. The photo, on the other hand...

Smiles Delivered By UPS

A package from Grandma holding books, sunglasses, and dress up clothes brought major excitement to the house. Never mind that these were all items the girls played with extensively but were left behind in Florida a few weeks ago- old is new again.

All Is Going Swimmingly

Mia enjoyed a playdate while Teagan enjoyed practicing her water gymnastics.

Homecoming

Daddy's back! Let's celebrate with ice cream!

Window Shopping

While Mia is in dance class, Teagan and I wander downtown Mill Valley. She loves popping into the stores to see what's happening. Driving the train in the town square is also a source of amusement.

In Motion

It's been awhile -- here are some videos, including some serious hip shaking from Teagan:

Hop, Skip, and a Jump

We took advantage of the backyard creek to practice some rock skipping.

Pine Court Derby

Our friend, Wylie, turned two in style with a party dedicated to the fine art of car racing. Kids decorated cars and then sent them down a homemade racing lane course. Mia prevailed as the victor over a very talented crop of mostly toddlers. Let's hope it doesn't result in an appreciation for NASCAR.

Sending Her Regrets

I found this note on Mia's desk, apparently written in an attempt to skip a two year old friend's birthday party.

Bullet Train

Teagan loves Choo Choo Soul, a fairly annoying music video series featuring an R&B singer and a beat boxing buddy while they sing songs on a train. Her fave song is "Bullet Train," and while the local mall train isn't quite as fast as the song's namesake, Teagan is more than happy to embrace it as a substitute.

Travel Pros

Teagan and Mia handled their (much delayed) cross country trip home like true frequent fliers, much to my relief. Maybe we can start planning that Italy vacation...

A Beach Day At Last

Our cold Spring Break finally relented and on our last day, we were treated to a beautiful day on the beach. Teagan loved the waves, with both girls being among the few brave souls to roll around in the chilly surf.
