Blurry photos from Dad's phone, but I couldn't resist posting these pretty darn cute pictures of Mia trying on Uncle Brian's cowboy hat. The only negative is that there is no mini-cowboy hat for Piggy.

(Predicted) record highs here in San Francisco today, so Mia and I headed to Baker Beach, where we could enjoy the sunshine with a very cool breeze bouncing off the Pacific. Much fun was had collecting rocks and frolicking in the freezing surf. When Mia removed her hat and I threatened we would leave if she wouldn't wear her hat, she promptly collected her sand toys and said "Bye Bye, Beach!" as if I had made a brilliant suggestion rather than announced a negative consequence of her actions. Sigh...so much for today's discipline lesson.

Mia is really enjoying her backyard this week and, thank goodness, because I could really use a gardener who knows how to use a shovel. I'll try to get out the good camera (instead of my crappy phone camera, as evidenced by these photos) this week so I can get some decent shots of her exploring the glory of dirt and flowers.
Mia loves packing the stroller full of favorites and taking them for a twilight stroll here in Florida. If there is a sewer manhole from which to read letters along the way, all the better.
