Mia waited patiently for twenty minutes to have her face painted like a kitty cat at the Tiburon Octoberfest, which included an odd moment when a five year old boy asked me who the prettiest girl was in line and who -- when I pointed out that Mia was indeed the cutest -- lifted his shirt to show her his skull temporary tattoo. Note to self: keep your eye on these Marin boys.

A Case of the Mondays
Mondays are our free days, when Mia and I can take a breather from her otherwise packed schedule (wink, wink). Today, this meant playing in the park with Mia's crush, Colton (she named a beloved panda after him), and after a non-nap, finger painting and dressing up in some novelty glasses. Piggy got in the action, too, stealing from the accessory drawer of Mr. Potato Head. Dapper porker, don't you think? Here are a few extra photos of Mia, the grande artiste.

And the Winner of the Tour de France, 2027...
We have embraced the Marin lifestyle with today's purchase of family bikes. Mia, of course, is too young to have her own, so she'll be hitching a ride on Mom's cruiser. That didn't stop her from trying out the kiddie bikes at the shop, however. She found this little number decorated with butterflies, which conveniently matched her new butterfly helmet. Watch your back, Lance.

Hard to see their little plush heads poking out, but here are photos of her furry buddies arranged at their proper places at the table. Completely without surprise is who is seated at the head of the table:
