Mia and her buddy, Dailey, enjoyed some fun in the winter sun this afternoon.

Mia Bear, Mia Bear, What Do You See?

Anybody that has seen Mia around her books, and in particular, this one, can attest to her nearly obsessive reaction to them. Nothing, it seems, can induce as much excitement nor as many tears (if she drops a book, or Mom takes it away from her) as her precious books. Indeed, I'm fairly certain that Mia's "transitional object" is going to be made out of cardboard rather than fabric. Here are some more photos of her enjoying her Sunday afternoon reading.

My Funny Valentine

Mia received her first Valentine, a card from her playgroup buddy, Colton. He's the boy in the black hat in the post below. As you can see, she adored it.

Tug of War

Mia's playgroup buddy, Colton, tried to take Mia's toy. Though she is outmatched by the mighty boy by at least six pounds, she fought hard. The other photo is of the kids wearing red and pink in honor of St. Valentine's -- as you can see, they weren't thrilled about the idea.
