In The Swing Of Things
The temperatures are not as high as we would have liked, but the dress-up clothes and back porch swing at Grandma's and Pap-Pap's are suiting the girls just fine.
Deep In The Heart of Texas
We made a pit stop in Houston en route to Florida to visit some dear friends. We had a great time visiting the science museum, swimming, and lots of good eating. No cowboy hats were purchased.

Staycation
The grown ups if the Corey house went to a wedding this weekend, but it didn't cramp Mia's and Teagan's style one bit.
Hands Free, Toddler Style
Teagan wanted the cool factor of her guitar, but didn't want it to burden her ability to walk unfettered down the street. Solution? Turns out a sweater makes for a handy hook.

Go Climb A Oddly Shaped Mountain
I have been trying to find something for the girls to play on outside beyond a simple swing set. Welcome, Geodesic Climbing Dome. So far, a big hit.

All Is Well
Teagan thoroughly enjoyed her annual pediatrician appointment this morning. When the doctor walked in, Teagan yelled with great excitement, "Doc McStuffins!!" She is happy and healthy, and somewhat surprisingly, is the exact same height and weight as Mia was at her two year old appointment (Teagan has a whole ounce up on her big sis)! Here are some photos of Tea being very Tea.

Happy Terrific Two!
Teagan celebrated her second birthday in style at the Discovery Museum, where she played with her buddies and cousins, danced, ate pizza, and wolfed down a hefty piece of her choo choo cake. Grammy and Papi came to town, too, always a fun treat!
Star of the Week
It's Mia's turn to be Star of the Week at school, which means we were host to class pet, Humphrey the Bear, this weekend. Among the adventures shared in the class journal was getting to hang out with Grammy and Papi while David and I went to a fancy party. The takeaway was that "mommy wore eye shadow." An adventure indeed.
Shoe Shopping
The beloved Reyna (nanny extraordinaire) took the soon-to-be two year old shoe shopping for a birthday present. As you can see, Teagan was all too pleased with her new wares.
Cookie Playdate
When the dads are away, the kids (and moms) will play. Dinner and some bunny cookies make for a fun weekday diversion.
